The Maternity Program at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley starts long before the actual day of delivery. Many services are offered for expectant mothers including the following:

• Ultrasound
• Monthly baby showers with hospital tour
• FREE birthing classes
• Nutritional counseling
• Assistance with Medi-Cal enrollment and benefits
  
   

We also offer unique services for mother and baby after the delivery including:
 

• Assistance in obtaining a Social Security Numberfor the baby
• Birth certificate registration
• Baby pictures
• Infant CPR classes
• Upcoming parenting classes
• Discharge package for mothers as needed to get them
  started, (car seat, diapers, formula, etc.)

We want to make this special occasion memorable and exciting and would be happy to show you around, answer questions and introduce you to our caring staff of physicians and nurses. We can also assist with transportation if needed and are happy to accept patients with presumptive eligibility for all of our services.
