The Pharmacy Department at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley provides the following services:

	Guide and support the staff in providing services to our community and patients
	Order and maintain medications and store them for patient use as well as for use in the Emergency Room, Operating Room, Crash Carts, Floor Stock and others
	Maintain an adequate supply of medications
	Prepare and mix patient medications according to the physician’s request
	Check for drug allergies, drug-to-drug interactions, dosages, dosage forms and appropriateness of therapy
	Delivery of medications to floor for use by patients
	Interact and coordinate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services
	Guide and support staff in providing services to our community and patients
